Job Description:

 

Essential

• College degree (Computer Science preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of hands on experience Java and J2EE 
• Deep knowledge of Java programming language
• Object Oriented software design
• Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills in distributed J2EE technologies
• Solid experience in Hibernate, Spring, Web UI components(HTML, JavaScript) and Maven
• Competent SQL developer

MANDATORY: Working experience in GWT and GWT-EXT framework

• Good understanding of Java profile tools, Unit test frameworks like Junit and ability to write solid System Integration Test cases

Advantageous

• Experience of Agile development methodology, such as Scrum or XP
• Experience of Test Driven Development
• Exposure to Terracotta, Selenium, Behave
• Experience in Linux and shell scripting
• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
• Experience in Subversion
• Experience with the Financial Services industry experience is helpful, particularly in Securities Clearance or Collateral Management

Soft Skills

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Comfortable with agile development practices such as pair programming
• Skilled at giving and receiving feedback
• A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
