System Admin

Required Skills:
· Resolve application related issues and tickets that are escalated to the team and any issues identified by the team during regular monitoring.
· Work with external partners and support teams to resolve issues related to application, connectivity, permissions, data & process thereby ensuring high availability of application to all end users and partners.
· Administration and support of all SQL Server Database in scope servers.
· Maintain SQL Server based solutions such as Log shipping & Replication.
· Backup and restore of Database of all in scope servers.(as and when required)
· Trouble shooting and repair of database related issues.
· Participate in planning and migration of database servers.
· Trouble shoot & Resolve issues related to the server and escalate accordingly to Datacenter team, Network Operations team and other teams as per the escalation process.
· Support of in scope servers for their uptime and availability.
· Initiate & participate with required teams to resolve any hardware break fix related activity of the in scope servers.
· Support all planned upgrades
· Provide System Administration for supported systems and applications.
· Maintain Access control of all in scope servers.
· Troubleshooting and resolving OS related issues and working with other MS teams to resolve OS issues for the servers.
· Support all planned upgrades.
Other Responsibilities
· Manage all assigned tickets or bugs on a daily basis.
· Create new tickets for un-ticketed work requests.
· Resolve incidents and document the activities performed.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years BI design/development experience / best practices
- Strong, practical experience with the MS Business Intelligence Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), experience with additional BI tools a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solutions for BI DW Environments, including SQL Server 2008, DTS, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services, Multidimensional OLAP Reporting tools, SQL Profiler, BIDS 2008, E/R Studio
- Thorough understanding of and practical experience with ETL (DTS/SSIS)
- Working knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques

- Experience in OBIEE 11g administration and able to configure seamlessly into VM infrastructure
- Experience with the design and implementation of single sign on (SSO) for OBIEE dashboard and BI publisher
- Solid experience in PL/SQL, Ad hoc queries and analysis
-Experience in both presentation and repository layers of OBIEE (dashboards, formatted reports, grid reports, etc)
